New Gear VR just for Galaxy Note 8

Samsung on Wednesday launched Galaxy Note 8  with a huge Infinity Display, dual camera setup, and improved S Pen capabilities. Alongside, Samsung has also launched the new Gear VR headset to be compatible with the new Galaxy Note 8 smartphone's big size. The new Gear VR headset is priced at $129.99 (roughly Rs. 8,300), and is already available on the US online store to buy.
With respect to design, the new Gear VR headset is similar to its predecessor, but has a larger slot for the Galaxy Note 8. Therefore, the new Galaxy Note 8 will only be compatible with the new Gear VR, but the new headset will be compatible with old Samsung devices like Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, and the Galaxy Note 5.
Essentially, Samsung has launched the new Gear VR because the Galaxy Note 8 won't fit into the old one. There's nothing additional that it brings to the table, except for a bigger slot to put the Galaxy Note 8 in, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the company didn't bring it up at its event in New York.
Just like last year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Edition Gear VR comes with a controller in the box to help navigate with organic movements. It is compatible with the above mentioned Samsung devices running on Android 5.0 Lollipop and above, and supports Bluetooth v4.2. On board sensors include Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, and Proximity Sensor.
It would've been nice if it was bundled in for free with Galaxy Note 8 pre-orders at least. Instead, those who pre-order the smartphone will be able to avail a Gear 360 camera or a wireless charging bundle at no price. Samsung is also said to be offering Galaxy Note 7 customers discounts.

[RUMOR ]'Made in India' iPhone SE 2 to Launch in Early 2018

Apple  at its earnings call earlier this month revealed that the iPhone SE had a big hand in the double digit growth in iPhone sales in India this last quarter. Sharp announces phone with 120hz screen

Sharp has announced the Aquos R Compact, a smaller model in its Aquos R range of smartphones. Unlike the others in the series, the Aquos R Compact has a different, more of an edge-to-edge display design similar to the company's previous smartphones. The Aquos R Compact has a 4.9-inch, 2032x1080 resolution IGZO LCD. Apart from the fact that it goes right up to the edges on the top, has curved corners and notch in the center for the front camera, the display has 120Hz refresh rate that is twice as fast as almost every other smartphone display. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also has a 16.4 megapixel camera on the back and an 8 megapixel camera on the front. The software is Android 8.0 Oreo with EMOPA 7.0. Running the whole thing is a 2500mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
